Most frequently asked

Just about every week someone asks me about Karter's allergies. Most of the time it's "Will he grow out of them?" or "What happens when he eats the wrong food?" Last night we found out for sure. After consuming a glass of milk which he thought was his soy milk, but was real milk, we can answer those questions better.
To make a long story short, the reaction was not immediate, though a severe stomach ache was, followed by hives, facial swelling, turning red (like a bad sunburn), congestion, screaming (when he saw the epi pen coming).... followed by an evening at the hospital where he was given more meds and observed to make sure the reaction was finished and not going to come back.
