Last Saturday we left the farm early and drove to North Myrtle Beach, arriving in time for dinner. And arriving to find the beach looking like this...
Every ten years, they rebuild the beach. Nothing like hearing waves and bulldozers all week, but really it wasn't as bad as it could have been. They had the pipes removed from in front of our condo on Monday and had moved further down the beach.
They were bringing in sand from three miles out and pumping it onto the beach.
