Home Alone

Thursday afternoon Brooke and Karter left for the farm, leaving me to an apartment empty of 3 year old chatter and clean from 3 year old messes (: Although I miss not being greeted the second I walk in the door from work, it's been an enjoyable couple of days. We all need quiet and our own space sometimes. Some things I've thought about...

*I can brush my teeth without Karter wanting to squeeze the toothpaste, or crying because I forgot to announce my cleaning and forgot to let him do the honors.
*I can leave my camera out without little hands touching it, dropping it or turning it on and taking pictures which he now can do (like the one below).
*I can scrapbook and leave it out for a couple of days without a fear of it getting stepped on or misplaced or cut up. (which actually i have not done but the thought is nice!)

It's hard to believe that a year ago I was less than 2 weeks away from boarding a plane (or 5 planes rather) to Thailand!
