Sea Stars...

are hard to kill.

We learned that at Ripley's Aquarium. Sea Stars will grow back their limbs if they are cut off. And the limb that is out there, will grow back a body! Crazy!!!!!! I found a Sea star early one morning as the tide was going out. It was still alive so I took it back to the water. You can see in the picture that this one is growing back several of it's 'arms'. Then later in the week my dad found one while he was out walking. Except it was dead, so we dried it in the sun and here Karter is showing it off.
