Week at Home

We just returned from spending an entire week back home in Southeastern Ohio! My sister had spring break, so I took off work and we headed home for a week of spring cleaning and visiting with family. The week started off as planned, we cleaned by day and went to church in the evenings for a missionary conference. It was wonderful to hear their plans to serve- a family from India serving in India, another family headed to the Canary Islands and another to Artic Canada and another in his 30th year of serving in Brazil. We missed having Pastor there as he's been ill for a month now, in and out of hospitals, and undiagnosed. We heard today that he's not doing well at all. The Berry family and my home church could use prayer. Major illnesses and accidents have swept over the church like never before. Satan is trying to stop the work being done. The orginal crew building the church camp have all had set backs. Most recently, dad suffered a heart attack Thursday. Within two days he was home from the hospital with 5 stints (?) in one artery. Just today, another family in the church lost their 13 year old grandson to heart failure. Pray Bible Baptist Church would not allow these circumstances to discourage them and that they would keep pressing on during these trials.
